Heavy-duty D-ring shackle (9,500 lb rating)

When the Rescue Sling May Be Used

Horse or other large animal unable to stand
Recovery following sedation or anesthesia
Cast or injury support
Mud, snow, or ice entrapment
Trailer accidents
Other large animal emergency situations

Requesting the Rescue Sling

The Loops Large Animal Rescue Sling is available on loan for emergency response incidents.

Requests must be initiated by:

Licensed veterinarian
Veterinary clinic or hospital
Fire department
Law enforcement agency
Emergency management agency
Another emergency agency coordinating the incident

The requesting agency will designate an authorized individual to pick up the equipment.

Bronken Creek maintains this rescue sling as a community emergency resource. We loan the equipment only. Animal assessment, treatment, rescue operations, and incident management remain the responsibility of the attending veterinarian or responding emergency agency.
